• Entrance mats – absolutely necessary to keep stains and soil out of the hotel
• Use at hotel entrances, outside and inside making sure to vacuum entrance mats once to twice a day
• 85% of soil is reduced with a length of 4 linear yards of clean entrance mats
• 

Do not use beater bar (rotating vacuum cleaner brush) it can scratch and dull the floor finish. More frequent dust-mopping or vacuuming schedule may be required in very sandy areas such as a beach.

Recommended only use Shaw R2X Hard Surface flooring cleaner or a neutral pH cleaner. Depending on where the LVT is installed, the floor may need to be wet mopped daily. In the rooms, wet mop daily or at every turn of the room.

Steel wool, abrasive cleaners and strong ammoniated or chlorinated type cleaners

Use damp cloth to blot up spills as soon as they happen. Never allow liquids to stand on the floor.

Use rubbing alcohol or odorless mineral spirits to remove candle wax or chewing gum. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.

For tough spots, do not use acetone as it can damage the surface of the floor. Instead, use rubbing alcohol or odorless mineral spirits. Always rinse with water after cleaning.

Depending on traffic level, your LVT flooring will need to be deep cleaned using a neutral pH cleaner, 175 rpm buffer and red 3M pad for smooth surface flooring. For embossed flooring, an auto scrubber with cylindrical or rotating brushes will work well. Never dry buff the flooring. Always rinse with water after any type of cleaning.
